🚨 SATURDAY WORSHIP STARTS THIS WEEKEND!
This video takes us back to the beginning of Resurrection.
Before everything that's happened since, there was a simple dream:
Create a church where people could show up as they are and know—
You Belong Here.
That hasn't changed.
But this weekend, we're making more room. ❤️
✨ Our NEW Saturday Gathering launches this Saturday, September 12 at 6:30 PM!
Maybe Sunday mornings don't work for you.
Maybe you've been thinking about coming back to church.
Maybe you're not even sure church is for you.
Come anyway.
There's room for your questions.
There's room for your story.
There's room for you.

🚨 SATURDAY WORSHIP STARTS THIS WEEKEND! 🚨
This is where Resurrection began.
A simple belief that Springfield needed a church where people could come as they are, ask questions, find community, experience grace — and know:
You Belong Here.
A lot has changed since this video was made.
People have found community.
People have returned to church.
People have been baptized.
People who weren't sure they belonged in a church have discovered a home.
But the reason we started hasn't changed.
And now, we're making more room.
✨ THIS SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 12 AT 6:30 PM, we launch our brand-new Saturday Gathering.
Maybe Sunday mornings don't work for you.
Maybe you've been thinking about coming back to church.
Maybe church hasn't always felt like a place where you belonged.
Or maybe you've just been waiting for an invitation.
This is yours.

🙏 STOP & PRAY
Resurrection family and friends, we are asking you to pause for a moment and join us in prayer following the tragic accident in Springfield last night.
Two coworkers of one of our Resurrection family (Cody Cantrall) members were involved in a tragic accident. Tesia tragically passed away, and Kayle is facing multiple surgeries as doctors care for her serious injuries.
Today, we ask you to pray:
🙏 For Kayle — for successful surgeries, strength for her body, healing, and wisdom for every member of her medical team.
🙏 For Tesia’s family and loved ones — for comfort, strength, and God’s presence as they grieve this sudden and heartbreaking loss.
🙏 For their coworkers and friends — especially the Mama G’s family, who are grieving one of their own while praying and waiting for another.
Gracious God, be near to every person touched by this tragedy. Hold those who are grieving. Strengthen Kayle and guide those caring for her. Surround this community with Your peace when there simply are not enough words. Help us carry one another through these difficult days. Lord, in Your mercy, hear our prayer. Amen.
Today, wherever you are, would you take a moment and Stop & Pray with us?
You Belong Here.

🍁 Your Week at Resurrection | Fall Starts This Sunday! - https://mailchi.mp/resurrectionsgf/your-week-at-resurrection-starts-here-6432615

Today at Resurrection, Pastor Kyle Kranes-Rutz reminded us of something simple, powerful, and sometimes difficult to say:
“I need you.”
Preaching from Galatians 3:28, Kyle challenged us to see that being one in Christ does not mean becoming identical. Our differences do not disappear—and they do not determine our value, our belonging, whose voice matters, or who gets a seat at the table.
God sees the whole of who we are.
God calls the whole of who we are.
And God has created us to need one another.
Kyle shared vulnerably from his own story of wondering whether he could bring his whole self into the church and whether there was truly room for him. His reminder to us was clear: there is.
Your story matters.
Your gifts matter.
Your questions matter.
Your perspective matters.
We are formed better and stronger when we encounter people whose stories are different from our own. Sometimes discipleship looks like leaning toward someone instead of pulling away, listening before judging, and simply saying, “Tell me more.”
As Kyle reminded us at the close:
We need God. We need one another. And God has trusted us with each other.
