September is National Preparedness Month! Now is the time to make sure you're ready for winter weather. Often, winter storms can cause power outages that can last hours or even stretch into days.

Prepare for any possible outages NOW, before it's an emergency.

Gather your supplies and store them in a centrally located spot that will be easy to access if your power goes out. Make sure to include flashlights, batteries, power banks to charge your electronic devices (with the cords needed to plug in your device!), and a small portable generator if you have access to one.

Keeping an eye on weather reports during the winter will also help you know when an outage is possible and helps you get plan ahead.
