Most of us remember turning 21 as a moment of freedom and possibility. For many young people aging out of foster care, that milestone can also bring uncertainty and hardship. That’s why @goodsamsmo exists. To change that story. And we are honored to play a part in what comes next. #PeopleAreOurPurpose This new resource center in Springfield is now taking shape. The structure is in, and crews are working on interiors and MEP systems, and will soon begin the finishing touches. Once complete, this space will offer furniture, essential household goods, life skills workshops, and relational support to help our local youth build stable, independent lives as they transition out of foster care. The work here is about more than construction. It is about giving young adults a place to find support, dignity, and opportunity as they step into their future.
