Worship is more than the songs we sing on Sunday.
It is gratitude on an ordinary morning. It is choosing kindness when it would be easier not to. It is trusting God when we cannot see what comes next.
When worship becomes part of everyday life, joy begins showing up in unexpected places.

Sometimes joy looks like walking into worship after a long week, hearing a familiar song and remembering that God has been faithful through it all.
At Home Church, we worship with honest hearts. We bring the good days, the difficult days and everything in between. There is joy in knowing we do not have to carry any of it alone.

Ever wondered about the true nature of speaking in tongues? Many believers overlook this profound aspect of spiritual experience, yet it holds a deep connection to the fullness of God.
This exploration delves into the dual nature of tongues—revealing that this gift can manifest as either a known human language or an angelic tongue never heard by men. By revisiting the powerful events of the day of Pentecost in Acts 2, where the Holy Spirit descended like a rushing wind and tongues of fire rested upon believers, we gain a clearer perspective on how this spiritual gift functions. It’s an invitation to broaden one's understanding of a mystery that is both deeply personal and biblically rooted.

Some of the most important work at Home Church happens before anyone walks through the doors.
Coffee is prepared. Rooms are cleaned. Lessons are planned. Chairs are arranged. Music is practiced. Guests are welcomed. None of it happens by accident.
We are grateful for every volunteer who uses their time and talents to help others feel comfortable, cared for and at home.

One of the most meaningful parts of being connected to a church family is knowing there are people who will show up in both. They may bring dinner, send a message, offer a ride, sit quietly with you or simply say, “I’m praying for you.”
We may not always have the perfect words, but we can always choose to be present.

It’s a humbling truth that’s often hard to swallow: no one stands above another. Whether looking at the homeless, those struggling with addiction, or those currently in prison, the playing field is completely level in the eyes of grace.
This powerful reflection challenges the tendency to perform righteousness for show, instead pointing toward a heart transformed by true humility. It’s a call to move away from the judgmental mindset of a Pharisee and toward a place where one runs back to the source of unconditional love, constantly seeking forgiveness and genuine transformation. Sometimes the most important spiritual work happens when we stop looking at others and start letting God reshape our own hearts from the inside out.
