Bradley started as a STUN and Rosewood-Cedarwood Tenant Union member in 2024 when his landlord threatened to evict residents. Now, he is one of our union’s most dedicated leaders — spearheading the Robberson Neighborhood Team and acting as a powerful voice in the historic court case against Willhoit/Zimmerman Properties and owners Mitchell and Amanda Jenkins to maintain Rosewood Estates and Cedarwood Terrace as vibrant Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) communities.
Through the fear and heartbreak of seeing and experiencing injustice in his housing, Bradley refused to accept the cruelty of the status quo and stood up to protect and advocate for his neighbors. It is because of his compassion and dedication to his community that he and other Rosewood-Cedarwood tenants have been able to stay in their homes a whole two years after the eviction attempt was made.
As Bradley has shown us, it is only when we stand together that change is possible. If you are interested in building tenant power in Springfield’s Zone 2 and joining the Robberson Team, we encourage you to fill out our Membership Form!

This tumultuous legislative session may be over, but the work of the people isn’t stopping.
In March, STUN joined with partner organizations in Springfield to directly address our legislators and communicate what our community needs. Leader Daniel Behlmann’s speech makes our stance clear: our state politicians must address Springfield’s housing crisis and commit to our solution of safe, accessible, and truly affordable housing.
We will not tolerate power players’ well-worn strategy of blatantly violating the will of the people. We must stand together for the working class Missourians and tenants in our city and across the state.
Let’s not get it twisted: Politicians work for US, not the other way around.
Get involved with our movement ahead of election season by becoming a member today!

At the beginning of this week, we gathered with our community for the launch of our public Right to Counsel campaign.
With the backdrop of the eviction crisis and its impact on our city, including who is most affected and the power players who benefit from this harmful system, we dove deep into what it will take to ensure Springfield tenants have equal legal representation. There was undeniable power in the room on Monday night, and we know our path to victory is clear when we band together to protect our neighbors.
Stay tuned: We have more Right to Counsel events this summer and are just getting started! 🐝

Most landlords have a lawyer. Most tenants don't.
In 2025, 2,300 Springfield households faced eviction – alone, outgunned, and up against a lawyer. Even more astounding, 40% of all those evicted are Springfield kids.
The system is stacked against everyday people and slumlords are fighting to keep the status quo, but Springfield families deserve a fighting chance!
Join us for a May Mass Meeting on Monday, May 11 to learn more about Springfield’s eviction crisis and who benefits most from the unjust system in place, and hear from the families and youth leading the charge to fight back!
