Reed Academy

We’re 3 weeks out from the start of Reed’s wrestling season. Our first practice is on 10/5 & conditioning after school from 4:30-6:00pm.

Wrestlers must have parent forms completed and their physical uploaded to Final Forms https://springfield-mo.finalforms.com/ as well as meet attendance and academic requirements to participate.

Wrestlers must bring a change of clothes (long sleeve shirt and pants is preferred) and wrestling shoes to practice each day.

Mrs. Keene's class practiced being scientists this week and using the scientific method - their big question, "What happens to M&M's if you put them in water for 5 minutes?”

6th Grade Science starting the year practicing the use of the metric system. No more inches, feet, or miles.

Science uses metrics to recreate experiments across the world!

Fun fact: did you know the USA is one of the last countries to use customary measurements!? ☺️

Metrics allow for easy conversions and consistent measurements!
