Had a great turnout on a beautiful but bittersweet morning. Thanks to everyone who came out to help pack up Bill and Lisa Crumbaugh in record time (not even two hours) for their move out of state next week. Always glad it's "see you later" rather than "goodbye" for the family of God. Thanks to Jack Vink for the photos.

This Sunday, Craig Dunham will kick off our Summer Psalms series with Psalm 111, a hymn of praise celebrating the character and works of God.
From the manna in the wilderness to the conquest of Canaan, to the ultimate redemption accomplished at Calvary, the psalmist makes his case: this is a God who remembers, provides, acts, and redeems.
Not only that, this God invites us to respond not just with admiration, but with the whole-hearted, can't-keep-it-to-yourself praise of people who have seen what he can do because he knows them as his own.
Worship begins at 10-11 a.m. at 2450 Taylor Avenue this Trinity Sunday. Come excited for a new sermon series! https://exoduspres.org/plan-your-visit

Exodus Ministry Coordinator Craig Dunham and his wife Megan are hosting a summer book club focused on fiction at or under 200 pages. Participants are welcome to attend all five discussions or pick just one that interests you. The only prerequisite is you have to have read the book!
One particular highlight of the line-up is July 11's Children's Literature Night, led by Megan, a classically-trained elementary teacher and lover of all things children's books. Bring your favorite and be prepared to explain why in light of its truth, goodness, and beauty.
The first book of the summer is C.S. Lewis' The Screwtape Letters. Secure your copy and get to reading in time for the June 13 discussion!

There were no saints in Caesar's household; then there were—and they knew about the Philippians, and were grateful for them. Never underestimate what one church can accomplish by ordinary faithfulness and partnership.
This Sunday, Pastor Stephen brings our 2026 Philippians series to a close with his final message titled, “Sainthood.” In it, he'll walk back through the whole letter before landing on Paul's parting words of grace and blessing in Philippians 4:21–23. Don’t miss this fitting end to a rich book!
Worship begins at 10-11 a.m. Adult Sunday School runs from 9-9:45 a.m. at 2450 Taylor Avenue. https://exoduspres.org/plan-your-visit

What’s really driving your life—success, approval, comfort, or something deeper? As importantly, when was the last time you asked the question?
This Sunday, Pastor Greg Grindinger from sister church Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria invites you to consider what shapes your decisions and direction. Drawing from Ecclesiastes 11:7–12:14, he will point to the reality that life is brief, yet full of opportunity to experience joy centered on God and to rejoice in the everyday gifts God provides, rather than just postponing enjoyment while waiting for the next stage or milestone.
We'll also honor mothers of all ages and stages with a small token of appreciation for Mother's Day. Join us at 10 a.m. this Sunday at 2450 Taylor Avenue, Springfield, IL, 62703. https://exoduspres.org/plan-your-visit

Is there any resource on the planet as scarce as peace? Not just any peace — the biblical kind that passes all understanding.
This Communion Sunday, Pastor Stephen considers this kind of peace (as well as its Source) in his sermon from Philippians 4:4-9 titled, “The Peace of God from the God of Peace,” as part of our continuing series in Philippians.
Worship begins at 10-11 a.m. Adult and Children’s Sunday School run from 9-9:45 a.m. at 2450 Taylor Avenue.
