We are so excited to get The Silk Snail canvases! As one of Houston’s newest designers, we fell in love with their work and knew it was perfect for Storyteller’s Thread. So guess what- let’s welcome one of the designers, Gabby in store on Tuesday with her designs!

As this collection with has been so popular, we will be releasing the canvases on Tuesday at 10 AM in store only. Because we have a very limited quantity, we are allowing each guest to get one canvas of this new collection each, and we are not allowing any holds or call-ins on this first day. After that, all will be available to purchase for in store pickup.

Our full order isn’t even in yet, and we will be getting more designs in the future along with a huge re-order. We will be getting more of everything, but we don’t know when. Thanks for being so understanding!

You know how to turn that stitched needlepoint into an ornament, you just need to sit down and do it. Come out tonight from 5-7 and work on your needlepoint finishing with friends! No instruction or supplies provided, just a supportive group that you can get this done with!

We’ll be doing these once a month, so if you can’t make it out tonight we’ll see you next month.

Why do we love needlepoint? Because it tells a story that lasts beyond what you do with it. These two vintage chairs with wool needlepoint cushions are easily more than 50 years old, possibly more, and yet they are in perfect condition. Whether you’re making something that’s heirloom quality or just to help you get through carpool, what you make is special. And we’re so grateful we get to enjoy these beauties ❤️🪡

SURPRISE! Our email subscribers knew about this first, but we’re expanding our hours! We asked and you answered, so we’ll now be open all day on Fridays! We will be open from 10 am - 7 pm, perfect for you to come grab a kit while the kids are at school, or unwind with a glass of wine and stitching after work.
