Nested Bluebird

reated by a fine artisan. I don't excel at painting, or carpentry, or glass blowing, etc. They aren't exclusive to me, these items I create, but they are personal to me, having grabbed my attention and cried out. They all have a history, shaped by others hands or by my mind's imagination. Pieces old and tired, forgotten about. Traveled from mantel, to box, to shelf. A crack here or a chip there. I wonder about the hands they have touched, the tears they have seen, the laughter they have heard. They still have life in them. I want to help them breathe again. I hope my creations make you smile, encourage you to look at things differently. Get out and create! Feel moved by simplicity. Find joy in the ordinary. Most importantly, be open and vulnerable to possibility.
