For seven days, I had the pleasure of celebrating my mom’s retirement AND her 70th birthday with some of my sisters and other family members! 🥳💖 It was such a special excuse to get everyone together and make some new memories.

It was so nice to disconnect for a while, enjoy each other’s company, put the phones away, and just be present 🥰

Feeling extra grateful for my family, for the memories we made, and for being able to step away from work for a little while and actually enjoy some time off. Definitely came home with a full heart ❤️✨

Somehow, out of all the people in the world, our paths crossed… and my life has never been the same.

You’ve become my favorite person to laugh with, vent to, to go on adventures with and to and come home to.

You’ve made ordinary days feel special just by being in them.

Thank you for loving me through every version of myself; the confident ones, the anxious ones, and everything in between.

Life has taken us on some pretty wild adventures already… but somehow I think the best ones are still to come.

I hope this next year brings you as much happiness as you’ve brought into my life.

T***k Rebirth Era 😭

I went from 165lbs to 145lbs throughout the first half of this year, losing about 20 pounds of muscle. A combination of overworking, under eating, not exercising regularly, and not sleeping enough.

The last time I was this weight I was 19 and just discovering the fitness world, and body building for the first time. It is sad to see all that hard work melt away over time, I’m feeling weaker than I’ve felt in a long time. It’s true what they say, if you don’t use it you lose it 😅

I’m posting this to hold myself accountable to taking better care of myself going forward. The rest of the year I will have better work/life balance, healthier daily routines, and more time spent being active and doing things I love! 💪🏼

June and Fourth of July weekend were a whirlwind in the best way. Between weddings, portrait sessions, creating content for our clients, and wrapping it all up with a work trip to New Orleans for Essence Festival, it’s been one adventure after another. It’s been exhausting at times, but also incredibly rewarding to spend our days doing work we genuinely love.

Now I’m looking forward to slowing down a bit this month; catching up on editing, getting ahead on a few projects, and finally getting some much-needed rest before the busy season picks back up.

Feeling incredibly grateful that I get to build this life, chase these opportunities, and experience it all alongside such an amazing partner. Wouldn’t want to do it with anyone else 🌈 Jorge A. Rangel-Kimpel

Exactly 6 and a half years ago, Jorge and I met and had no idea where the journey would take us. Since then, we’ve built a life together filled with adventures, challenges, laughter, countless memories, and a whole lot of love.

We’ve faced obstacles, uncertainty, and seasons that tested us. But through it all, we’ve continued choosing each other, again and again 💖

This Pride Month, I’m especially grateful for the ability to love openly, for the people who support us, and for those who fought to make that possible.
