Risen Church

Join us for a morning of challenge, intentional spiritual formation, and fellowship as we gather as a community of men to deepen our faith together. 

We will start the morning with an optional workout at 5:30 AM. Then we’ll have breakfast for all men from 6:30-7:30 AM. We’ll share a meal, enjoy good conversation, and then dig into discussion regarding “digital discipleship”, including how Christian men engage with AI, digital devices, social media, and digital platforms. 

Come for the workout, come for breakfast, or come for both—we’d just love to have you there.

Grace is greater than we think.

On Sunday, we got to hear Ryan preach on Ephesians 2:1-10 and learn more about why we should be continually shocked and awed with how much grace The LORD gives us.

This Sunday we wrapped our Summer Series on the Faith of Our Fathers with Dr. Mark Baker preaching on the life of Joseph.

From the start of this series we’ve seen the theme of blessing, temptation, then a fall. But we can have hope knowing that despite our failings, the punishment of the cross that Christ endured secured our salvation.

Every fifth Sunday at Risen Church is a special Sunday as we get to hear updates from all our mission partners across the globe.

This Sunday, we hear updates from Henty Van Der Merwe about Risen Church Eindhoven and learn specific ways in which we can be praying for them as they start their church plant in Eindhoven.

Then we also got to receive updated prayer points from Mike Valleskey about the future Risen Church here in the Houston area.

Join us as we pray for both these churches.

We are not meant to see Jacob, Issac, or Abraham as moral role models, but instead see how merciful and gracious our God is towards sinful people.

We are also through our study of the Faith of our Fathers and its passages like this that remind us how undeserving we are, our God shows us mercy.
