It’s September and crafty FALL time has officially arrived! 🍁🍁🍁🍁 Time for fall home decorations. Add some fall color with this runner! 💚🧡💛🤎. It measures 58”x16.5”. Message me if you’d like to purchase the pattern. 🍁😉

Mondo Bag Class today! Four beautiful bags and lots of “are we done yet?!?” It’s a full day but vibes remained high and motivated and it paid off! Everyone worked very hard- Good work ladies! The Painted Raven

DON’T get distracted when putting together a sample project!🫨 I even took pictures a long the way and never saw it. 🙄 It sat there quietly mocking me…. Then I finished and set it down to admire my work-and it laughed out loud😆! Time for a break and then some seam ripping! 🫥 😬 or maybe I leave it…as an example of mistakes you can live with!

Kicked off our Block Party today with the first in the series! They all came out great and so different 🎊☺️ I have another opportunity to join us for the first block on Sunday August 16. Recent class on the byAnnie “Drop Zone” bag. A little challenging to get that zipper in but once you do it- no problem! Has anyone else made one? Closes like a bullet shape and opens nice and flat!

This little apron was the start of my sewing life! I made it in 1976 in Home Ec class for my Mom for Mother’s Day..50 years ago! I don’t recall if she ever used it, but I remember how much she appreciated it. Now I have it as a reminder of that special moment. ❣️
