Spring Grove Rockets Football

This week our Rocket players hosted a youth camp for our future Rockets. Big thanks to our High School players for coming out and big thanks to all the families for signing their kiddos up. Great time had by all!

Coach Stremmel, Coach Trone, Coach Redding, and Coach Hostetter with Team PA starting center and team Captain David Czapp. Team PA lost a hard fought game in double OT but it was great to see #72 out there doing his thing one last time. Way to make us all proud and represent your community so well, David!

Rockets! Today the top seniors of Pennsylvania High School Football and Cheer square off against Marylands best and our very own, David Czapp has been selected to play for team PA! A tremendous honor, and it is a fitting High School career end for a player of his caliber! We should all be proud of him! In speaking with David he had a message for his community;

“Beyond thankful for such a great hometown with lots of amazing people. Couldn’t have done it without the Spring Grove Community supporting me. Beyond blessed to be supporting Spring Grove in one last game. One last time Blast Off, Roll Rockets!”

Congratulations to the winners from our seafood raffle in partnership with Anchor Down Crab House. Thank you to all who participated!

Tomorrow is the final day to register for youth camp. Don't miss out! Open to students entering grades 2 - 7 for the 2026-27 school year.

Hello Jets families. The deadline to register for youth camp is May 8th. If you are on the fence about allowing your child play tackle football this fall, this camp is a great introduction to the sport. Your player will get to work with the current High School players and coaches and go through no contact camp where we really break down the proper form for both offensive and defensive football at a competitive level.
