Did you know Jesus was an herbalist?

No, He didnt utilize herbs for medical purposes. He didnt consider them a treatment or remedy for any ailment of our flesh. He wouldnt have been known as herbalists as todays standards.
However, He taught more about herbs in a holistic perspective than any man ever on Earth.
We know that herbs are for mainly food accorfing to scripture. He designed them and instructed us to have stewardship over all the Earth. He said to eat them.
Jesus taught parables on the Kingdom of God and our righteousness in comparison of many forms of herbs and theyre stages of life.
His form of teaching herbs was a way to bring wholeness to our spirits through knowing the Father through Him by giving Him our lives.
Our first and most important form of restoration doesnt come by using herbs to promote good health and wellness. It comes through the many many ways Jesus taught us to be free from ourselves and be found in Him and He did this by way of so many cool and profound parables of herbs.
His teachings on herbalism treated the spirit, not the flesh.
This doesnt mean not to use herbs to help the body. He designed them to have profound biological impacts on our bodies to promote balance, healing, and overall good health.
However, never ever hold herbs above the finish work of the cross. He always gets the glory whether He heals our bodies or we use His creation as an avenue for wholeness. Either way keep Jesus first and foremost always.

ATTENTION! We are looking for someone to do our weekday events for our traveling petting zoo, Creatures and Great and Small. This is a paid position and some animal experience is required. You would be taking birds, small mammals, reptiles and a couple bugs to different places including schools, nursing homes ect. and doing an educational presentation plus interaction. You must be pretty flexible during weekday mornings and afternoons and have a clean driving record. This would be a great opportunity for someone who would like the extra income but doesnt need a set income. We are also looking for someone to be able to have their own vehicle to transport them ( suv or van). We are located in Spring Grove, pa and would want someone local to the area.
