What a journey it has been! Today I got promoted to my 3rd Degree on my Black Belt! - That represents 9 years at Black Belt and 22 plus years at BJJ. Yet, I feel like it is just the beginning! The journey continues, and I don’t plan to stop until the Good Lord decides to take me home to eternity! First and foremost, I would like to thank my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! Second, I would like to thank my wonderful wife, Colleen Deshong Rodriguez and family for all of their love and support. I would also like to thank all of my past and present professors including Andre "Tim" Monteiro and Jean Dalua Cartagena, and Karun Fiederer. In addition, I would like to thank all of my Trinity students and training partners, not only from my school, but from everywhere I have had the privilege to share the mats with. Finally, I would like to thank all my other friends and acquaintances that I have met along the way! - Let the journey continue! Osss and Amen! 🙏🏽 ❤️

It was an honor to promote my brother and student, Ron Williams, alongside Jean Dalua Cartagena, to his 2nd Degree on his Black Belt! Prof. Ron “Sarge” Williams has been training under me since white belt in 2008! Love you bro!
