This January, The Institute for Nonprofit Administration & Research - LSUS is joining the statewide Million Meals for MLK initiative to help provide meals to those in need.

INAR is helping promote the campaign and connect volunteers to food-packing events throughout the month, partnering with organizations like the Bossier Council On Aging and the Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana.

Dr. Reshad Osmani from LSUS’s College of Business is making waves in the world of health economics. His research paper on supply-side conditional cash transfers (SS-CCTs) (a method aimed at improving healthcare access in low-resource settings) was accepted at the International Health Economics Association session during the prestigious American Economic Association annual meeting in San Francisco.

Through this work, Dr. Osmani explores how financial incentives for healthcare workers can enhance short-term healthcare utilization while pointing out the long-term challenges of maintaining healthcare quality after such programs end. He continues to bring real-world insights into LSUS’s MBA and MHA classrooms, preparing our students to tackle global challenges head-on.

Join us in congratulating Dr. Osmani on this outstanding achievement and his appointment to two prominent editorial boards! Read more: https://bit.ly/3DGVXVL
