As Spectrum Works' first partner company, FM has played an important role in creating meaningful opportunities for hundreds of autistic young adults and helping to demonstrate the impact of inclusive employment.

It was wonderful to come together, recognize the employees who support our participants every day, and celebrate the many milestones we've achieved through this partnership over the years.

As our Autism Acceptance Month comes to a close, we’re reflecting on the conversations, partnerships, and moments of inclusion that made this April so meaningful. 💙

From celebrations with our employer partners to community events that helped raise awareness and spark connection, this month was a powerful reminder that acceptance becomes meaningful when it leads to opportunity.

Autism Acceptance is all about creating conversations that lead to greater understanding, inclusion, and opportunity and we were so grateful to celebrate with the team at Rent the Runway 💙

Employees across the company stopped by throughout the day to spin the prize wheel, participate in our raffle, and learn more about the importance of inclusive employment opportunities for autistic individuals.

Their staff brought so much energy and enthusiasm to the event, and we are especially grateful to the leadership and HR teams for their support in helping make the experience engaging and meaningful for everyone involved.

We also want to give a special thank you to our mentor award recipients, whose ongoing support, encouragement, and dedication make a meaningful difference for their autistic coworkers and interns every single day.

Thank you to Rent the Runway for continuing to create a workplace culture centered around inclusion, awareness, and opportunity.

We are very grateful for our Autism Acceptance Month celebration at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center. It was a powerful reflection of what strong partnerships can create.

This event highlighted the meaningful collaboration between Spectrum Works and Bergen New Bridge and the shared commitment to creating inclusive opportunities for autistic young adults.

The staff’s enthusiasm, kindness, and generosity made the day especially impactful. Their support and pride in the partnership continue to create a welcoming environment where participants can learn, build skills, and grow. Thank you to the entire Bergen New Bridge team for embracing this work and for fostering a culture of support and inclusion. We are proud to continue building pathways that open doors for autistic young adults. 💙

What an amazing day celebrating Autism Acceptance Month as the Free Cone Day partner at Ben & Jerry’s in West New York! 💙🍦

The store was filled with so much positive energy, from neighbors showing up to support inclusive employment to families cheering on the autistic young adults who were scooping with confidence.

Some of the most heartwarming moments of the day were seeing so many people choose to make a donation to skip the line, and even paying it forward for other community members to skip the line with them.

We were also thrilled to welcome West New York High School students, who stopped by to see their neurodiverse classmates in action behind the counter. Their excitement and encouragement made the day even more special.

Thank you to everyone who visited, donated, or helped spread the word! We are immensely grateful for days like this that show what can happen when a community comes together.

We spent the day creating a welcoming space for families, children, and community members to connect, play, and learn together. From hands-on activities to meaningful conversations with staff and parents, the event highlighted the power of belonging and the importance of embracing every child’s unique strengths.

Our partnership with Sesame Street Learn & Play continues to open doors for understanding and acceptance while creating opportunities for autistic young adults to gain real work experience - we are so excited to continue growing together.
