Please join us in welcoming guest artist Robert Benson to Sebastopol Gallery beginning June 1, 2026.
Robert’s watercolor paintings focus on Northern California landscapes, still life, and figurative work. Influenced by Impressionist painting, his style features loose brushwork and a lighter touch on detail, allowing the viewer’s eye to fill in the blanks.

“Take Your Time”
Paintings by Sharon Eisley
Reception: Saturday, June 20, 4-6 p.m.
Change and transformation take time.
In her newest body of oil paintings, Sharon Eisley explores time itself as a living process. Whether moving through grief, reframing one’s sense of self, or giving form to something newly emerging, each painting draws you in with luminous layers and then asks you to linger—slowing down to reflect on the depth of human experience.
Eisley’s work is inspired by tarot archetypes and her own personal journey. At the reception, tarot readings will be offered by for an optional small donation, adding another layer of reflection and insight to the evening.
We are also pleased to welcome guest artist Robert Benson, whose impressionist watercolors invite the viewer to actively participate—challenging the eye to complete what is suggested rather than fully defined.
Join us June 20th for a very special reception, and a meaningful moment in the life of Sebastopol Gallery. This will be the FINAL art opening in our current home of nearly 20 years at 150 N Main St.
“Take Your Time” becomes both exhibition and invitation—a reminder to ourselves and our community to move thoughtfully as we transition into a new chapter and begin in our next home.
We hope you will come celebrate the art, the artists, and the many years of connection we’ve shared in this beloved space.

“Northern Exposures,” paintings by Teri Sloat, is on view at Sebastopol Gallery through May 31, 2026. These evocative works invite viewers into a world shaped by folklore, memory, and lived experience gathered during Sloat’s years living along the Yukon and Kuskokwim Rivers in western Alaska.
In Teri’s words:
“I owe much of my desire for storytelling to living where stories were told through images drawn with a knife in snow or mud, or performed and handed down during dances in the community hall. These are my personal stories, inspired by living and working in places where wisdom, humor, and the acknowledgement of connection were passed down in story form.”
Through richly imagined imagery and narrative depth, Sloat’s paintings reflect the enduring power of story to preserve culture, express connection, and illuminate the human experience.

"On the Road to Bodega..."
New paintings by Lynn Zachreson
On display through April 2026
Lynn Zachreson’s new paintings offer a quiet dialogue between the human spirit and the natural world.
In watercolor and cold wax, she creates luminous, layered works capturing fleeting moments along the Bodega Highway between Sebastopol and Bodega Bay.
Inspired by the female form, nature, and shifting light, these paintings evoke peace, connection, and subtle excitement—where the noise of the moment softens into shared stillness.
Each piece is floated on board, with deckled edges casting a delicate shadow that enhances intimacy and depth. Sealed with cold wax, the surfaces are durable and richly layered.
"On the Road to Bodega..." invites us to slow down and reconnect with the quiet beauty along the way.
