The 2026 Mayor’s Film Award was designed by our own creative director Piper O’Neill — the same artist that has been creating the Golden Space Needle Awards since 2013. The new award pays direct homage to that original design. Thirteen years later, it all comes full circle.

Congrats to Kate Becker, Abdul Kassamali, and Tom Florino, who are receiving the award for their significant contributions to Seattle’s film industry at the Seattle International Film Festival opening night.
