First Friday Scranton

We listened to your feedback and we've decided that First Friday July will look a little different this year.

Due to the many events happening over America's 250th birthday weekend, there will be no official "map" this month. Some of our downtown venues will still have FF events on the 3rd, some will have events on the 10th, and some all month long.

We will be promoting these events via our Facebook and Instagram pages/stories, so please keep an eye out on our socials to make sure you don't miss anything!

WAKE UP WITH THE ARTS! ☀️🍳🎨 Join the Lackawanna County Arts & Culture Department for a FREE Wake Up with the Arts Breakfast on Wednesday, June 17, at 8:30 a.m. at Marywood University’s Nazareth Student Center, 1300 University Ave., Dunmore. The “Creating for More Than Art’s Sake” discussion will explore how artists and makers can be more involved for better community impact.

Joy World Wealth Partners is hosting “The Time Before the Pool” exhibit by artist Nancy Yamin & a Book Signing of “Found: A Potcake Puppy Story” by author Tara Atkins this Friday. Also live music by The Shine Girls!

Local Author Christopher Vernon will be doing a book signing of “Devils Who Walk Among Us: Evil Wears Many Faces” at Lost & Found Bookshop tomorrow!

Students from Prescott Elementary School, Grades K-4 is showcasing their work at the Scranton Public Market during First Friday! Swing by and show them some support!
