Built in 1999, the Sandy Amphitheater is an award winning concert and event venue that seats 2,750 in both reserved fixed seats and general lawn admission.

Summer is officially here! We kicked off our 2026 season with the free Jazz in the Park concert on May 18th. We were blown away by all of the talented high school and professional musicians from across the state! This is our 4th year hosting Jazz in the Park and we’ve loved watching it grow bigger each year!

Don't miss Jazz in the Park + Food Truck Night on Monday - the concert is free! Read below for some helpful info about the event:

May 18
Gates open: 2:30pm

SCHEDULE: sandyamp.com/188/Jazz-in-the-Park

WEATHER: We are a rain or shine venue, so concerts proceed even in the rain. The forecast looks dry but cooler than this last week, so make sure to bring some jackets or blankets if the temperatures drop in the evening.

PARKING: Parking is free - there are two lots (entrances off of 9400 S and 1300 E).

FOOD AND DRINKS: Food trucks will be in the west parking lot and venue concessions will be open. You can also bring your own food - outside food and drinks are allowed (no alcohol or glass).

Re-entry allowed - you can come and go as you'd like during the event.

What Can I Bring Inside?
- Outside food and drinks (no alcohol or glass)
- Empty water bottles (refill stations inside)
- Blankets
- Bags and coolers
- Low rise lawn chairs

Not permitted:
- Dogs or other animals (service animals under ADA allowed)

🎢 FREE CONCERT!

Mark your calendars for our first free community event of the year: Jazz in the Park on May 18th! Kick off the summer with a fantastic evening of music, enjoying the spring weather and the sunset over the valley. The event is open to all, no tickets required!

We'll have top high school jazz bands from Utah like Lone Peak, Westlake, Provo, Brighton, Alta, and more. Sandy City Food Truck Night will be right outside the gates - the food trucks will open earlier than usual to start with the concert! You can also bring your own food - outside food and drink is allowed.

Gates open at 2:30pm and the performance run from approximately 3:10-9:40pm - feel free to come and go as you like!
