Raise your hair if you refuse to touch a raw Turkey tomorrow! šāāļø
Speaking of Thanksgiving I just want to say Iām so grateful for you. The love and appreciation Iāve felt from my clients and followers has been unbelievable. Starting my own business this year was a scary leap and I definitely couldnāt have done it without you.
I hope you all have an amazing day with your familyās tomorrow! I love your guts! š

Iām now offering any color of hair tinsel you can think of. š My client was so happy we could add something fun to her hair today without any color or bleach. Literally the perfect way to switch up your hair.

{ Breakup w/ Breakage }
If you live in a dry climate, chances are you have breakage. Here are my go to ways to keep your hair strong and healthy. Letās refresh!
[1] Haircut! I know what your thinking, no way! But in order to stop breakage you have to get ahead of it. You may not have to lose as much length as you think!
[2] Oil is your new best friend. Kenra silkening oil is my go to to make sure my ends are staying moisturized every morning and night. If your hair is fine start with a small amount and see what your hair drinks up! (Mids to ends!)
[3] Silk pillow cases will change your life. If you canāt find one a silk head wrap will work too. Target Walmart and Sallyās all carry them.
[4] Claw clips. Weāre throwing it back to our childhood and we are all becoming clip girls! Clips put way less tension on our fine front baby hairs. That are always the first to snap!
[5] limiting towel time. Do you wrap your hair in in a towel after the shower? Be careful! Towels are heavy on our fragile hair. And hair is more prone to breakage in a wet state.
Most of our breakage happens at night rolling around on your pillow. Or when your hair is pulled to tight. Try these out and tell me if youāve noticed a difference!

*******Personal Post Ahead*******
My Instagram account was intended to be a mix between my personal and professional life. But I have definitely been slacking on the personal posts haha. So hereās a realistic personal post if you want to see more than just before and afters.
Having an invisible illness is definitely one for the books. I thought that once I found a doctor that listened to me, and got put on medication everything would go back to normal! But I swear I feel like Iām still fighting everyday to figure out how my body works now. What foods I should avoid? What amount of exercise wonāt make me feel like cement tomorrow? How many days can I get bad sleep before getting sick? Why do my joints hurt today?
I went from exercising 2 times a day, working on my feet for ten hours in between , feeling the best I ever felt. To dragging myself out of bed just praying I could make it through the day. I think one of the hardest things for me is knowing that I may not ever get back to that point. No matter how clean I eat, how much time I spend at the gym, how much sleep I get. I may not ever feel %100 again.
I was in tears at the gym yesterday. Another day of looking in the mirror and feeling like my body doesnāt match my effort. Not being able to squat heavy because my hips ache. Not feeling like my body is mine. Feeling stuck.
Itās hard for me not to dwell on the things I wish I could change. To keep second guessing myself and questioning if I really am doing everything I can.
I had someone ask me, āWhat brings you peace?ā In the moment my only answer was my sweet husband. But as Iāve pondered I have a new list of peace.
I find peace
-In phone calls with mom
-Lost in the pages of a good book
-In cuddles with Cam
-Taking walks by the canyon
-Helping my clients feel beautiful
-At the golf range (on a good day lol)
-On Sundays
-Watching my nieceās grow
-Picking Fresh flowers for the week
-Hitting a new PR at the gym
-Getting brunch on a day off

Summer loving š„°
05/13/2022
Summer is slowly starting to appear āļø So hereās my summer tips for healthy hair!
1) Apply oil mids to ends regularly. Mix with olaplaex #6 for soft silky hair.
2) For swimming š§ apply a deep conditioner on dry hair, then braid. Helps prevent color fade, keeps hair soft, helps with end of the day tangles. (Take braid out in the shower, brush with conditioner in)
3) No sleeping on wet hair! Braid hair or lose pony to prevent breakage.
4) DO NOT let sunscreen get on your blonde extension hair. No one wants that beautiful hair turning bright orange. š§”
5) Find a heat protectant with SPF ā±
Letās be real summer is rough on our hair. š¬Remember that even after those sun soaked days 10 minutes of taking care of your hair will make all the difference!

Some people donāt consider doing hair as a āreal jobā. I have had rude comments said to myself, my husband, my mother, my coworkers. Sadly itās a very common belief. When we first started dating someone close to me told me, āYou better be okay with being poorā.
Years later not once have I regretted pursuing my dream. And not once have I ever felt āpoorā. I have felt rich in so many countless ways.
- I talk to people on their best and worst days, and everyday in between.
-I can change the way someone feels about themselves. Mentally and physically for the better.
- I work on a new canvas every day. And challenge myself and my thinking.
- I work in one of the most artistic and creative fields.
- I wake up every day and do what I love.
And this isnāt to say that doing hair is easy. Some days I drag my feet. And some days my feet hurt so bad walking to the car is an achievement. Iām 24 and my body hurts like Iām 42. (Lol). My hashimotos makes it especially hard sometimes. But I wouldnāt change what I do.
All this just to say that Iām so proud of the life and I have created in our little corner of the world. Iām so grateful for my clients that support me and my work.
If you have a dream pursue it. If you have a goal achieve it. And donāt let anyone question you or your choices. I promise it will be worth it. š¤
NATURAL BABY!!
Sometimes we have to fake a little sun kissed lookāļø And honestly Iām obsessed. Adding just a little pop can make a big impact.
Also if you want something low maintenance it is the perfect time to go a little lighter. As your hair is in the sun this summer it will naturally lighten and soften everything. Making a seamless transition into fall. š¤©
