Playing with ride height on the white lane IROC stang

I put independent front ends on my blue and white lane IROC chassis. They’re based on Dash gen 2 chassis

Switched over to silicone coated foam Wizzard rear tires. I can prepare, profile and limit travel of my pickup shoes. I’ll use a .012” step to set up on my setup block.

Adding my wide track front end using my Scale Engineering press and attachments

I took it from a pile of parts to a smooth running fray chassis. I’ll throw some slip ons out back to do some dyno testing. I’ll add the wide track front end as well. Once testing of this typhoon armature pushing RT-HO top plate gears into Wizzard cluster mesh is done I’ll mount some silicone coated foam on the back coated titanium axle.

A look at my September projects. I got quite a bit done. I. Built a black WizzJet, 2 gray WizzJets, my contribution to the Halloween Havoc and another Dash chassis. All but my Halloween Havic chassis have been mailed to the customers who ordered them.

Got my crown gear spaced perfectly after closing up the cluster shaft hole in the top plate. I got it snug without binding.

Working on a green WizzJet chassis. I cut my cluster shaft this morning. Got the pinion pressed on and made sure it spins freely. I will tighten the cluster shaft holes 🕳️ in the chassis as well as the top plate. Then I will build a buttery smooth rolling cluster mesh using a Wizzard crown gear mounted on a coated titanium axle. Stay tuned…

Finally found an armature for this black gen 2 Dash chassis. It’s sporting a Blizzard top plate, 18 ohm typhoon armature, black dragon magnets, stock Dash top plate gears. The drive has a Dash cluster shaft and pinion pushing a Wizzard crown gear that was mounted on a coated titanium axle. Wizzard brushes, pickup shoes and brushes transfer the power to the armature.
