Two of our teams competed at the American Mock Trial Association’s National Championship Tournament on April 14-16. More than 700 teams began the season in the fall, with only 48 teams earning a chance to compete for the championship. PHC had the highest ranking B team and is one of only 7 schools to advance 2 teams to Nationals for the third year in a row.

PHC is the only school to have two teams earn trophies in each of the last three years!

The Amber (A) team earned 8th place in their division and the Navy (B) team earned Honorable Mention.

We are thrilled to announce that Gage Neudigate, Nicholas Storz, Rachel Greenlee, and Julianne Kidd were declared Champions of the Schuman Challenge hosted by the European Union Delegation to the United States!

The Schuman Challenge is an academic competition for undergraduate students from U.S. colleges and universities to engage in rigorous dialogue on transatlantic issues. Twenty-seven teams from colleges across the US took part.
Three teams were announced as finalists this morning, and each team immediately presented their proposals before an august panel of judges. After deliberation by the judge panel, the PHC team was announced as the Champions—the first for PHC!

We are so excited for our students and their success at this year’s AMCA National Championship!

Our forensics program is unmatched in collegiate competition. We have won 13 of the past 18 AMCA National Tournament Championships; only one other college has won the tournament more than once.

We could not be more proud of our students!

The forensics program is a key differentiator for the college and is unique in both structure and results. We offer more forensics scholarships than any other college in the nation, and a significant portion of our students—scholarship and non-scholarship—benefit from the personal and spiritual growth our forensics program provides.

Patrick Henry College’s forensics program is the best in the nation. Our teams compete at the highest levels in Moot Court, Civic Debate, and Mock Trial, and numerous championship banners and trophies demonstrate our heritage of excellence. Yet the most important aspect of our program is the dedication and focus of our coaches, students, and alumni on elevating Christ in everything they do.

We are so proud of our Mock Trial teams and how they finished their season last year. Here are some stats: PHC’s Mock Trial program is one of the top programs in the country AND the only program with two teams in the top 20. Also, our B team ranked as the top B team in the country, outranking some other college’s A teams. We are ready to go for next season—all systems go. Keep an eye out for future updates. We’ve got our sights on the national championship! Praise the Lord for these students who always point to Christ in all they do—no matter the outcome.

Well, this should look familiar! We are so excited that TWO teams qualified to Nationals yet again. After our 3rd place finish last year, our eyes are on the championship. We’re excited to honor the Lord and excited to pursue a national championship in Mock Trial. Pray for these great students as they prepare!
