Hi, I'm Em đź’ś
🌙 Art that follows the rhythm of the moon
🌙 Moss & Moon Print Club is open at https://epstudiocreative.com
🌙 Candle & Bone Collection available August 25-November 1
I did something radical.
I took 8 days off. I put everything on autopilot, turned on my vacation responder, stepped away from social media, and spent the week actually being present with my family.
I heavily used my wheelchair, my cane, and any other mobility aids I needed. I took many, many breaks. We changed plans when my body needed something different.
And I had the most brilliant, fun, full vacation.
I think sometimes we convince ourselves that we need to feel better, have more energy, need less help, or be able to keep up the way everyone else does before we’re able to live.
But accepting accommodations is not admitting defeat, it’s what allow you to actually LIVE.
Use the mobility aid, take the break, change the plan, ask for help, rest before you’re completely wrecked and cause a flare.
Work with your body and your limitations, and create something beautiful that works for you.

2026 has been nothing like what I expected, and better than I ever could have dreamed. As we’re about to enter the busiest season of the year I’m reflecting on my goals and thoughts, things I’ve learned and things I want to continue taking with me into the last quarter of the year.
It’s okay to slow down, it’s okay to take care of yourself and prioritize yourself. It’s always okay to change your mind.

If you’ve ever wondered what Moss & Moon actually is, here's a crash course!
Every month, I create a brand-new painting inspired by the upcoming full moon, turn it into a 4x6 art print, and send it out with a letter sharing the story behind the piece.
The timing follows the lunar cycle too: join before the New Moon, and your print is sent out to arrive around the Full Moon.
It’s simple, affordable, magical and full of whimsy.
If you’re already a Moonscriber, thank you for being part of this mail club with me. And if you’ve been thinking about joining, this is your sign to finally see what all the fuss is about.
$7/month in the U.S.
$11/month internationally
