Damn I wish this yard sign was less relevant than when I put it up 10 f$cking years ago….

Ok- so this photo is pretty boring to anyone but me- but there’s a story:
Last year our utensil drawer just fell apart- yay mdf construction!🚧 it took us many months to get a real wood replacement- locally from the cabinet place on 82nd, it the replacement worked ok- but was always just not quite the right fit. Eventually, (2 days ago) the almost fitting drawer broke the slider holding it in. Today I replaced it. But with critical thinking, (a designer mindset,) I not only replaced the part- but added a shim so it actually fit. Now I know it’s not going to slide all wobbly and fall out.
We can think and solve things, people. We can find solutions when we use our critical thinking skills. I don’t know what the final solution is here to the violence, selfishness, and stupidity our country is facing now, but I know we can find a way to a better future- we have before.
P.S. the shim I used was a cut up paint stick(those ones you get for free at hardware stores) - they also make great protest sign handles…
We’ve added lots of fun kits and supplies to get you inspired to make something!
