Browne Trading Market
Gourmet market specializing in Caviar, Fresh Seafood, Wine and Take out Lunch!

We’re heading back to Piedmont this week with Nick De Rosa and the wines of . This Thursday May 28th from 4-6 pm come taste a comprehensive lineup of Piedmont through the lens of Viberti.
The story of the winery began in 1923, when Antonio Viberti purchased an inn called Locanda del Buon Padre. Viberti initially began producing wine to give to the guests of his inn, as a gesture of hospitality as well as an introduction to native varietals of Langhe; specifically, Nebbiolo, Dolcetto and Barbera.
And what better town for this philosophy to be shared with than our hospitality forward, foodie town, of Portland?
We’re excited to taste through this lineup, and hope you are too! See you there!

We’re spreading our wings and leaving the market for an event you won’t want to miss! 🍸
We’ve put together a triple threat event with our friends and to deliver you a Martinis and Caviar filled night to remember!
Join us from 5-7 pm for a walk up style tasting of four of our Browne Trading Company caviars with a Goldie’s Gin martini built thoughtfully to pair.
If after all that you feel like indulging further, we will also be running a limited pop-up menu of classic Caviar and accoutrements, or a more modern and fun twist (did someone say chicken nuggets?).
Note: our 5-7 tasting portion will have a cover of $10 for caviar and an additional cover of $12 for the Martini pairings.

After the beautiful sunny day we had yesterday, we’re feeling pretty thirsty for the wines of Apollo’s Praise. If you’re feeling the same, you should stop by the market tomorrow from 4-6 pm to taste this lineup with Nick Doherty from Easterly Distributors.
is a producer working out of the New York Finger Lakes on Seneca lake. Owners Kelby James Russell and Julia Rose Hoyle say their mission is to make wines with balance and harmony, like music.
We hope these wines can bring music to what is looking to be a slightly dreary day here in Portland!
(As always this is a free walk up style event.)

Tomorrow is the second Thursday of the month, which means we are due for another tasting. Join us from 4-6 pm to delve into the wines of Domaine Pelican in the Jura with .
This is a tasting sure to appeal to both classic Burgundy fans, and enjoyers of the more eccentric Jura. Domaine Pelican is a second project from the minds of renowned Burgundy producer Marquis D’Angerville. Their wines find a balance expressing the delicacy of Burgundy with the charm of Jura.

We’ve got a new friend in the Market! Meet Bessie, our official cheese counter mascot.
Bessie comes to us from the Swiss alps where we are told our cheese is made from the milk of only happy cows. What results from happy cow milk is delicious alpine cheeses like the ones in this photo: Hornbacher, The Extra, Rockflower and Tilsiter.
Rigo is cutting into these fresh wheels this week, so come stock up before they’re gone!
