GO MAINE customer service will be closed December 25th and 26th in observance of the Christmas holiday. Travelers looking for resources are encouraged to check out the GO MAINE trip planner at gomaine.agilemile.com and New England 511 https://newengland511.org/. We will resume our normal 8:30-5:00 hours on Monday December 29th.

With our next winter storm on the way and lots of holiday travel taking place we want to remind travelers to follow the posted park and ride rules at your park and ride of choice. Vehicles not following park and ride rules may be towed at the owners expense.

Tomorrow is going to be a snowy one! Please remember to drive slow and don’t crowd the plow. If you’re working from home don’t forget to log that trip in the GO MAINE platform ⛄️❄️

The first round of park & ride surveys are complete! From Bangor to York our team has been out collecting data on how Maine’s park & rides are being used. More to come!

We’ve spent the last 2 days with our friends at The Jackson Laboratory at both their Bar Harbor and Ellsworth campuses. To get around we’ve used the Island Explorer which is a FREE service helping people get around MDI. JAX employees also have free access to Downeast Transportation Services buses including the popular commuter route from the Brewer Park and Ride to JAX. How will you celebrate this week’s ?

We were so excited to be part of yesterday’s celebration with MaineDOT, General Dynamics Bath Iron Works, and the City of Bath kicking off the new commuter bus transportation between Portland and Bath. BIW employees can ride the BREEZ and other Greater Portland Metro routes for free with a valid BIW ID.

This service builds on BIW’s strong commitment to commuting options for their staff including the Western Maine Transportation Blue Line and their active involvement in all GO MAINE program offerings.
