It doesn’t get much more Portland than this — Community Solar at the Rebuilding Center. ☀️ Just a few community partners coming together around one shared goal: powering our city with clean, renewable energy.

Back in January 2026, Elemental Energy installed a 330 kW solar array on the North Portland Rebuilding Center Campus. Once operational, the project will provide renewable energy to the Rebuilding Center while helping lower electricity costs for approximately 50 low-income households.

This community solar project was made possible through funding from the Portland Clean Energy Community Benefits Fund (PCEF) and developed in partnership with Rebuilding Center, Bonneville Environmental Foundation, and Pacific Power. The project is part of the Oregon Community Solar Program, overseen by the Oregon Public Utility Commission.

Our team will be at the Northwest Solar + Storage Conference this week, sharpening our technical expertise and policy insight to better serve our clients with smarter, more informed solutions.

We are proud to be part of one of the Pacific Northwest’s premier solar + storage gatherings.
