We’re excited to share that Fieldwork was honored with a 2026 Residential Design Architecture Award (RDAA) from Residential Design Magazine, with the Willamette Pool House receiving a Citation Award! The Willamette Pool House is perched on a bluff, offering sweeping views up and down the river. It supports a new pool and spa, along with a lounge, kitchenette, changing room, steam shower, and bathroom. Floor-to-ceiling sliding doors extend the interior seamlessly to a covered patio with an outdoor dining area and kitchen. A ceiling of locally sourced Oregon white oak continues to an exterior metal slat sunscreen. Skylights flood the steam shower’s tiled walls and custom concrete sink with natural light, enhancing the space with warmth and brightness.

At Alpenglow Community Park, Fieldwork designed three structures: an event pavilion, picnic shelter, and pedestrian bridge. A material palette of weathering steel, concrete, and locally sourced Ponderosa pine anchors the architecture in Bend’s high desert landscape.

We’re continuing our sneak peek of the Lightwell House. Filled with natural light from all directions, including from above in the stair hall, the “lightwell,” the home features locally sourced Douglas fir floors and cabinetry, natural stone, and full-height openings that connect seamlessly to the outdoors. The result is a home that feels warm, graceful, and in tune with its surroundings.

We’re thrilled to share a sneak peek of the Lightwell House. While the project isn’t yet complete, Fieldwork is designing much of the furniture now being fabricated, we captured a few special moments with the help of Absence Studio.

Set on an east-facing slope in Lake Oswego, Oregon, the residence overlooks the city and the Willamette Valley. Framed views, natural materials, a green roof, and expansive openings connect inside and out, creating a grounded and harmonious environment.

At the Deux Vert Vineyard residence and gardens, a GRAY Awards Finalist for Landscape Design, native oaks stand as both sculpture and reflection, while the architecture, vineyard, and land intertwine. Set into the hillside, gardens of pure geometry emerge, drawing a line between designed space and the surrounding landscape.

Set within a native Oregon white oak woodland, the Deux Vert Vineyard residence and gardens open to views of the surrounding vineyard and the hills of the Yamhill-Carlton AVA. A restrained palette of concrete, native stone, and metal grounds the architecture, while courtyards and terraces extend the home into the landscape.

Deux Vert Vineyard is a 29-acre boutique vineyard in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA, producing grapes for outstanding winemakers. Fieldwork designed a new residence and, in collaboration with , extensive gardens atop a hill surrounded by the vineyard and nestled within a native Oregon white oak grove, where the trees serve as both anchors and sculpture.

The Forest Park Bridges are composed of 4-foot modular components that can be hand-carried to the site, minimizing disturbance and avoiding tree removal in this sensitive forested environment. Fieldwork specified weathering steel for the structural elements, chosen for its durability and natural patina that blends seamlessly with the surrounding landscape.
