Dear Sandy

This post was supposed to be about this drink. It’s really freaking good, and we have both a boozy and an NA version. But every time I put pen to paper, all I want to talk about is how proud I am.

I’m proud of all of you. Our staff, our customers, and the community we’re lucky enough to be a part of. I’m proud that so many beautiful people choose to spend their time with us. Truly, you all inspire me every single day. I see you in your monochromatic outfit with your monochromatic hair. I see you getting a perfect 100 on your exam. I see you being open to love, heartbreak, and all the vulnerability that comes with meeting a stranger for a drink. I see each and every one of you showing up as your authentic self, day after day, and I think it’s one of the most beautiful things in the world.

To our incredible staff, and to all of you who walk through our doors, thank you for being exactly who you are. Thank you for trusting us with your celebrations, your first dates, your study sessions, your catch-ups, your quiet moments, and your joy. This community is something special. We are endlessly grateful to be a small part of it. Happy Pride from one proud mom! ❤️
