Message from Don Libby, Executive Director

Last week I had the opportunity to attend the Community Transportation Association of America (CTAA) Leadership Academy in Washington, DC with 40 other transit leaders from across the country. It was one of the most valuable professional development experiences I’ve had, filled with great discussions, new perspectives, and the chance to learn from some incredibly dedicated people working to improve mobility in their communities.
After the academy, I joined colleagues for CTAA’s legislative fly-in where we met with our state’s senators and congressional leaders to advocate for continued investment in public transportation and the vital services transit agencies provide every day.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to grow as a leader, connect with peers from around the country, and help share the story of how important transit is for the people and communities we serve.
