Last week, Nicole delivered a compelling session on AI for Equity at the National Forum for Black Public Administrators’ EMERGE Winter Conference, bringing her vision for responsible, equitable AI implementation to public sector leaders.

Her message was clear: AI isn’t just a technology issue. It’s a governance issue.

Nicole shared a governance-first framework grounded in care, accountability, and equity, empowering mid-level public servants to shape how AI systems impact their communities. The response? Standing room only engagement and an invitation to present at next year’s annual conference.

We’re incredibly proud of Nicole’s leadership at the intersection of public service, equity, and emerging technology. Her work continues to demonstrate that responsible innovation starts with people, not tools.

After six years in business serving Black causes and communities, it was an unbelievable feeling to be surrounded by new and old friends, clients we’ve celebrated and worked alongside for years, and Black dreamers, leaders, and advocates.

Thank you for presenting an opportunity for each and every one of us to be welcomed home. We felt and saw that through the powerful installations and the irresistible call to join and sing down by the riverside.

Our April WSW Meetup with was a beautiful reminder of what happens when we intentionally create space for women business owners to simply BE together. We stepped away from the usual networking format and said yes to something different—a slumber party celebration that prioritized fun, relaxation, and genuine sisterhood.

This reflection brought us back to the unforgettable moment dancing and struting down the impromptu runway, we gave ourselves permission to connect beyond business cards and elevator pitches. And the magic that unfolded? Some of the women who met that night have since become friends. Others have become business partners. All of us left with fuller hearts and a renewed sense of what’s possible.

Look at what women can do together when we create space to celebrate, support, and truly see each other! Thank you to , , and for co-creating this unforgettable evening.

Sisterhood WomenInBusiness PDX Eastmoreland

EARLY PR was honored to support Reimagining Public Safety Summit—a two-day gathering exploring abolitionist frameworks and community-led safety solutions.

Our team participated in sessions that invited deep questioning over quick answers, shaped event messaging and storytelling, and helped facilitate conversations where participants shared how the incarceration system has affected their families.

Beyond the event itself, we provided comprehensive campaign support—from Pandora radio ads and billboard placements to securing media features like Everyday Northwest, drafting op-eds, and creating social content that educated audiences on abolitionist principles.

The summit balanced difficult conversations with meditation, laughter, and connection—a reminder that rest is resistance. We’re grateful to support work that centers Black voices, honors lived experiences, and reimagines safety beyond policing and prisons.

First up in our top five highlights from 2025: a momentous day for our clients at Williams and Russell CDC. 🪏🎉☀️

After decades of community action to address the hospital expansion that demolished the bustling, historically Black Hillblock neighborhood of Northeast Portland—leaving the corner of Williams and Russell Streets vacant—this site finally entered a new chapter on February 28, 2025. A story of Reparative Development that would restore homes and businesses to this sacred corner.

EARLY PR was honored to coordinate media relations, event planning, speaker notes and scripting, run-of-show, and photography/videography—producing an incredible video documenting this historic day.

We knew the work wasn’t done, but there’s nothing quite like being surrounded by community in a monumental, emotional celebration that envisions light and a happier future during times often filled with difficult news.

This is the work we’re proud to amplify: tangible projects making the world a better place—literally.
