Ms. Kroeger’s BioChem students designed companion gardens then planted them today! In a companion garden, plants are paired based on how they support one another’s growth on a biochemical level. Hands-on learning is essential… and fun!

This week, the newest Pythons did their first IDL Finale! This marks the first of the 16 quarterly projects they will present to their peers, teachers, families, and community members, to showcase their creativity, collaboration, and all they’re learning here at Phoenix Coding Academy!
Ms. Sandmeyer’s AP Environmental Science class has done a lot of research on energy and resources they use, both in their personal lives and at school, studying economic, social, and other impacts. They even designed suggested adjustments that can be made to better utilize resources. Today, they presented their findings to one another in class.
The 9th graders learned how to use digital painting methods to create portraits in their Exploring Computer Science course!

Today we celebrated Metro Tech Flower Shop's 11th Annual Grand Opening! ✨ 🌸 The students all worked diligently in various roles including floral design, retail sales, management and much more. A few students were even interviews by various local news stations to share the good news about their program. Congratulations to all involved on another triumphant launch of the Flower Shop! If you're looking for a bouquet, a cute plushie, or a variety of other gift ideas, the Metro Tech Flower Shop is open for business on school days during school hours. 💐
