Today I’m sharing Jayme Brown Jayme Brown who recently graduated from Clark University with her MBA, concentrating in finance and finishing in the top 20% of her class. This comes just one year after she earned her B.S. in Business Management with minors in Marketing and Studio Art, graduating with highest honors, all while competing as an NCAA student athlete.
This year, Jayme completed her final season on Clark’s soccer team as a co-captain and received the M. Hazel Hughes Award, an annual honor recognizing dedication and performance that enriched the tradition of Clark Athletics.
During her MBA year, Jayme was also a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and Beta Alpha Psi, two academic honor societies recognizing achievement in business and accounting.
As an undergraduate, she served as publicity officer for DECA, participated in the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, helped establish Alpha Phi at Clark, and was the first student selected for the School of Business Honors Research Program.
I asked Jayme what her favorite memory was from her time at Clark. She loved playing in the conference championship during her freshman year and seeing so many friends and classmates travel and support the team. She still remembers the feeling when the starting whistle blew.
As a new graduate, Jayme took a leap and moved to Boston with her golden retriever, ironically named Boston. She is embracing the excitement and uncertainty of what’s next as she looks for a role that allows her to combine her analytical strengths with her creative instincts. And as if that isn’t enough, she launched Jayme Brown Consulting. Through her business, she helps companies develop clear, actionable marketing strategies designed to increase visibility, engagement, and long-term growth. It is a great way for her to continue learning and building her skills as she explores career opportunities.
Her advice for someone starting a new chapter is to take the risk, even when it feels uncomfortable. There may never be a better time to bet on yourself, learn what you enjoy, and step outside your comfort zone. I love her reminder to bet on yourself!

Today I’m excited to kick off our Summer Senior Sunday Shares with sisters Kate and Kennedy McKeighan who are celebrating two big milestones this year. There’s something especially meaningful about seeing one sister graduate from the University of Arizona with honors just as the other prepares to begin her own college experience there this fall.
Kate recently graduated with honors from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Nutritional Sciences. Because Kate is dating my son Mac, I have had the chance to personally watch her work toward this goal, and it was such a treat to be there in Tucson to celebrate her graduation.
During college, Kate truly made the most of her experience. She served as Vice President of Recruitment for Alpha Delta Pi, worked as a clinical intern at SPARCC Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation, and was a nursing assistant at Casas Adobes Post Acute and Rehabilitation. She also served as a peer mentor within the College of Agriculture, Life and Environmental Sciences and volunteered with Banner University Medical Center, Tucson Medical Center Children’s Clinics, and Tucson Village Farm.
One of Kate’s favorite memories was living in her sorority house during her junior year with her closest friends. Her advice to students beginning college is to put themselves out there, try new things, and meet new people because the years go by quickly. Kate is now working as a medical scribe at Valley Allergy Clinic in Phoenix before applying to Physician Assistant school. She’s looking forward to continuing to learn and gaining more experience caring for patients.
Kennedy recently graduated from Horizon High School, where she played varsity badminton. Not only was she involved at school but also worked as a front desk agent at EOS Kids Club and as a clerk at Mountain View Pharmacy. One of her favorite parts of high school was meeting new people and joining the badminton team with friends.
This fall, Kennedy is headed to the University of Arizona, where she plans to study law.

Senior Sunday Shares are back, and we have just 9 spots available this summer 🎓
Each Sunday, we’ll feature one recent high school, college, or grad school graduate and share her story, favorite memories, advice, and what she’s looking forward to next.
This series is more than a graduation shout-out. It’s a chance to celebrate young women in our community and encourage younger girls reading along to see what’s possible for them too.
Spots will be scheduled as completed forms and photos are received, and once the 9 spots are filled, the series will be closed for the summer.
Every graduate featured will also be entered to win a $75 Jewel Ya gift card to choose a little something special for her next chapter. Know a graduate we should celebrate? Send her the form via the link in our bio or tag her below ✨

Today I’m excited to share my friend Heidi Blair of . Heidi is our final Sunday Share until next fall as we shift into our summer graduate spotlight series. (Yes. Send us your graduating friends 🙂).
Heidi and I first met years ago on the baseball field while our boys were playing. Later, when her daughter Elizabeth was fighting cancer, we hosted our first bracelet party fundraiser together. It was a huge success and honestly SO much fun and brought a little light to a really hard season. I think back on that time with such appreciation. Not only was it meaningful, personal, but it showed how powerful community can be when people come together for someone they love. Even more meaningful is seeing the full life Elizabeth has now as a young woman.
Heidi has always had a gift for creating beautiful moments. Today, she is building her professional brand, Heidi Blair Living, where she shares lifestyle inspiration, DIY party planning, thoughtful styling, tablescapes, seasonal ideas, and simple ways to make everyday moments feel worth celebrating.
What I love about Heidi’s approach is that it never feels overdone or out of reach. She believes beauty does not have to be complicated or expensive. It just has to come from the heart.
Heidi is also deeply committed to causes that are personal to her. As the mother of a childhood cancer survivor, she understands the fear, strength, and resilience families face. She also supports women through the Miss Arizona Organization and serves on the board of Pliés, a program within Ballet Theatre of Phoenix helping make ballet accessible to children in underserved communities.
A fun fact about Heidi is that she is motivated by the “before and after” of a moment. Whether it is a party setup, a space, or even someone’s mood, she loves taking something simple and transforming it into something beautiful.
Heidi has been married to her husband Brooke for 29 years and is mom to Bryce, Kate, Elizabeth, and Pippa. When she is not planning a party, she enjoys playing Mahjong, writing children’s books, and is currently working on her second screenplay.
