A proper Mai Tai needs a rum that can keep up. 🍹

Until we released our Navy Strength Rum, we hadn’t been able to get quite as close to the dynamic flavors of the classic Mai Tai.

Traditionally, Jamaican and Martinique rums brought the proof and that signature “rum funk,” or hogo. Our production team set out to create that same depth here at State Line, building a dunder pit similar to the sour mash process used in bourbon production.
The result? Navy Strength Rum brought the proof, the hogo and exactly what our Mai Tai was missing.

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate 9 years of State Line with us. Seeing so many familiar faces, longtime supporters and new friends all together made the day pretty special.

We’ve been lucky to build something that feels like so much more than a place to grab a cocktail, and that’s entirely because of the community that continues to show up for us.

Thanks for being part of State Line and for celebrating 9 years with us. Here’s to year 10. 🥂

A note from our Founder:

When I think back on the last 9 years since State Line opened, my favorite memories are always associated with the people both inside and outside of these walls.

From getting to know many of you while we worked alongside one another during countless bottling sessions, to seeing so many of you standing in line outside before our first whiskey release excited for our doors to open, I am constantly reminded that making spirits has always been more than what we put into the bottle. It's about building community and creating a space where all are welcome. A place where we can slow down, laugh with friends, and sip on a delicious cocktail together.

Thank you for making all of this possible and for your support over these past 9 years. I look forward to celebrating with you and raising a glass together for what is still to come!

We’re turning 9 this Saturday 🥃 Come celebrate with us.

The party starts at 3pm with live music from David Hecht, followed by M Shays and Idledaze Trio throughout the night.

Runnin’ on Empty will be here with BBQ sandwiches starting at 5pm, and Baked Lab is bringing cakes and other treats at 5:30pm.

We’ll have $9 Bushmans, Troubadours, Espresso Martinis, slushies, wine pours and tap beer all day.

And at 7:30pm, we’re digging into the State Line stash for a surprise bottle drop. We’ll have a limited number of bottles from spirits we no longer stock available for purchase. Some old favorites might make an appearance, but once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Nine years is a pretty good reason to throw a party. See you Saturday. 🥂

Wine Down Wednesday with a little live music on the side. 🍷🎶

Tonight, enjoy $2 off wine pours and wine-based cocktails while local legend Mary Waitrovich brings the blues to State Line. Expect her signature smooth vocals and familiar favorites from the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s.
