🍎 Future Teacher Friday 🍎

This week, we’re recognizing Malik Wolfgram, a senior from Mosinee!

Malik hasn’t committed to a college yet, but his first choice is the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he hopes to continue his journey toward becoming a music educator.

Malik shares:

“My choir teacher, Mrs. Dul, inspired me to pursue music education. Her passion for music and teaching shows in the genuine care she has for her students and the safe, welcoming space she creates in her classroom. She is someone any student can turn to, whether they are in choir or not. Seeing the kind of impact she has on students has inspired me to become that kind of teacher for others.

My job as a swim instructor has also inspired me to become a teacher. I love watching students grow over time and being someone who can mentor and encourage them along the way. One of my favorite parts of teaching is the ‘aha!’ moment, when something finally clicks and you get to see a student’s face light up. That feeling is amazing.”

We’re excited to see where Malik’s passion for music, mentorship, and helping students grow takes him next. Wisconsin FCCLA is cheering him on as he begins his journey toward becoming an educator! ❤️

This is an opportunity to share your perspective and help the National Be a Teacher Day Coalition better understand students’ experiences and thoughts about education.

Students Nationwide: We Want to Hear From You!

The National Be A Teacher Day Coalition, led by FCCLA, is gathering feedback from students in grades 6-12 across the nation to better understand how they view careers in education and what influences their interest in the profession.

The survey takes less than five minutes to complete and is open to all students in grades 6-12, whether or not they are an FCCLA Member. Students do not need to be considering a career in education to participate.

To kick off Future Teacher Friday we are going to recognize senior Teagyn Hinkel from Luck.

Her major is going to be Education but is undecided on where she is going to go to college yet.

One teacher that inspired her is Mrs. Tempesta her middle school math teacher. She really enjoyed her teaching style and she was there for Teagyn when she needed the most.

Teagyn is between teaching Physical education, Math, or English.

Wisconsin FCCLA wishes Teagyn luck as a Future Teacher.
