Empowering our community through free tax filing for families earning up to $75K a year. ​The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) grant program is an IRS initiative designed to support free tax preparation service for the underserved through various partner organizations. This service helps low- to moderate-income individuals, persons with disabilities, the elderly, and limited English speakers

Today, we say goodbye with deep respect and gratitude to our beloved volunteer, María Montalvo.

For many years, Ms. Montalvo dedicated her time, energy, and heart to serving our community. Her commitment, kindness, and generous spirit left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
More than a volunteer, she was a true example of service, faith, and compassion. Her legacy will live on in every family she helped and in every life she touched.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family and loved ones during this difficult time, keeping them in our thoughts and prayers.
Ms. Montalvo, thank you for everything.
