Heading to Abingdon Virginia for the Virginia Highlands festival on Thursday to setup. The festival is from Friday through Tuesday.

I have been accepted, for the first time, into the Virginia Highlands Festival in Abingdon, Va on July 24 through July 28! I hope I will get to see some of my Coeburn and Wise County friends!

Sometimes we just need a good walk in the woods...

When I do shows I often hear people tell me that my prices are low. And I try to have my prices where people can afford to put something nice on the wall without paying a fortune for it. I know I could not do that: that is, pay a fortune for it. I try to shop around to different printers and get specials where I can offer a good price. If you have thought about ordering one of my prints, normally I charge $100 for a 20 by 30 canvas print at the shows but at the shows I am having to overcome a booth fee usually of $250 to $350, plus gas and food and possibly a motel room. If you decide you want to order something let me know and I will be glad to try to give you as good of price as I can.

I ordered a couple of prints for a special couple in Maine and they received them and have them hanging on their walls! I never take for granted when someone hangs my work on their walls, and it makes me smile when they send me a photo of it. Came upon this timber rattler in June of 2022 lying in the middle of the trail that goes from sassafras mt to Pinnacle Mt and back.
