Most people are diagnosed with Parkinson's in their 60s. However, in rare cases, some people like the young man pictured in the center were impacted before age 50. His case is known as Young Onset PD (YOPD). He came by the PAA table during the Gulf Coast Parkinson Symposium looking for other young people with Parkinson's. If you have YOPD or you know someone who does, visit the Young Onset Parkinson Network at https://yopnetwork.org/ for young friends today.
