Power Ranch Elementary

Today our kindergartners had their first Science Expo! Students worked in teams to present information on one of the 5 senses and even performed an experiment for spectators. Parents and students had the best time! We are so proud of our kindergarten students!

Thank you to PTO for our new dismissal attire! We hope we put a smile on your face in the drive line today!

2nd grade had a blast celebrating the end of their Ancient Greece Civilizations unit with “The Potato Olympics”

🌺🌴 Aloha, Panthers! What a BINGO night! 🐾💦

Tonight was full of tropical fun, big smiles, and plenty of BINGO excitement! 🌺🎉 Our Hawaiian Pool-themed Bingo Night was such a wonderful way for our Panther families to come together, connect, and make memories. 🏝️💙

A HUGE thank you to the Higley High School Student Council for all their hard work helping with setup, concessions, and cleanup! We are so grateful for your time, energy, and willingness to serve our school community. 💙🙌

And, of course, we are incredibly thankful for our amazing PTO! 🐾❤️ Thank you for continuing to create fun, memorable events that bring our families together. Your dedication makes such a difference in our school community! 🐾🌺

Panthers + family + fun = the perfect night! 💙🌴✨

📚💙 Readers are always welcome in our library! 💙📚

These sweet second graders were caught enjoying some quiet reading time and library checkout during lunch recess! Our library is open during lunch recess for students in grades 2–4 who want to come chill, browse, check out a book, or simply enjoy some time getting lost in a good story. 📖✨

And that’s not all! Students can also visit the library during Quiet Start in the morning to check in or check out books before the school day begins.

We love seeing our Panther readers take advantage of every opportunity to find their next great book! 🐾📚❤️

6th graders learned about the first system of writing, cuneiform, and then made their own clay tablets. Ancient Civilizations are cool!

✨📚 Tea, Tales & Third Grade! ☕️

Third grade wrapped up their Classic Tales unit in the most delightful way—with a fancy tea party! 🎩👗 Students dressed in their fanciest attire, sipped tea, and engaged in high-level discussions about the classic tales they read, including favorites like Frog and Toad. 🐸🐸

What a fun way to celebrate great books, thoughtful conversations, and the joy of reading! 📖💛

Kindergarten showcased their knowledge of nursery rhymes and fables by creating characters. They retold familiar nursery rhymes and made up their own fables with a lesson to teach their peers. How fun is this!
