Thank you, seriously, to everyone who reached out and supported me along this prep. From January to beginning of June, it was an extreme 180 in terms of my focus and lifestyle, I wanted to prove to myself and to everyone that the competitor I was in 2023 was a thing in the past.

In 2020 I competed in my first competition and also my first nationals, and since then (and after knowing I had SO MUCH work to do) I have been working through everything life has thrown my way… but still with the singular goal of stepping into the pro leagues. There’s a grocery list of things I could recall that derailed me time and time again. This post would be a lord of the rings trilogy length if I went through it all so suffice to say, there were many times/circumstances where I wanted to quit, and damn near did.

When all was set and done, I still continued to grind towards the stage, and here we are with the journey seemingly only just beginning.

Excited to see God has in store, both the successes and the challenges, in the years to come. 🙏🏼
