Curt talks about how Odysseus is on his pursuit of home, but that home isn't Ithaca. Odysseus' home is the relationships he has with friends, wife, and child. Which reminds us of a heavenly Father who has "emptied out Heaven for you and me just to show us how far He would go for us." Jesus paints this picture for us in the story of 'The Prodigal Son'.
