"The next day the great crowd that had come for the festival heard that Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem. They took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting,
'Hosanna!'
'Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!'
'Blessed is the king of Israel!'"
- John 12:12-13

๐ "We live in a world where the heaviness of sin and brokenness is impossible to ignore. Daily headlines remind us of injustice, violence, displacement and grief. And closer to home on the Waha field, we encounter stories marked by loss, fear and unanswered questions.
.. At times, the weight of it all can feel overwhelming, leaving us quietly wondering: Can things really be made right? Is there a hope that holds?"
๐ We'd encourage you to read the rest of this thoughtful and inspiring reflection from a missionary serving on the Waha field, in the March Amplifier.

๐ Through NEXT, interns get to experience cross-cultural ministry alongside long-term missionaries and national church leaders.

I remember instantly connecting with them over our shared love for coffee. From the start, I could tell I had some pretty special NEXT site leaders. ๐ Throughout the year, missionaries are often keeping up with renewing visas and going through the (at times) tedious or confusing processes to ensure they're able to stay and continue the work they've been called to. In some places, this can be particularly nerve-wracking, as the rules and regulations continuously change, which at times is to specifically prevent Christian missionary work.
๐ Today, would you join us in praying for overall visa and residence stability? We pray that God would bless our missionaries with the wisdom and discernment they need as they navigate these processes. We also pray that He would bless them with everything they need so they're able to stay and continue their missionary service.

๐ When Keith and Saundra stepped into retirement from 44 years of pastoral ministry, they were simultaneously stepping into a new calling to minister to The Wesleyan Church in a South Asian country*. When they embarked on this new endeavor, they had no idea what it was going to look like.
They just knew that they had a call to go, so they went.
โก๏ธ Over the last ten years, they have discipled, trained and lived as Christ-followers. Read more about the impact they've had in the March Amplifier!

๐ As we near the beginning of Ramadan, would you join us in praying for our missionaries who are serving in Muslim contexts?
We pray that the Lord would help them to be long-suffering and hopeful as their Muslim friends and neighbors desperately work to please Allah. In moments that might feel dark, heavy or discouraging, may the Lord be near to them. We also pray that the He would bless them with unexpected conversations with their Muslim friends and neighbors that open new doors and show glimpses of softening hearts.
๐ If you happen to know or support a missionary who serves in a Muslim context, we'd encourage you to show them some extra love this month!

โก๏ธ Ramadan begins the evening of Feb. 17th and ends on March 19th -- Muslims around the world will dedicate their days to fasting and prayer in an effort to gain favor with Allah.
๐ During a time when Muslims are typically more spiritually attuned, we pray that our Muslim friends and neighbors would encounter the Truth of Jesus Christ and the freedom that is available to them through accepting Him as Lord and Savior.
๐ This Ramadan, we challenge YOU to do a couple of things:
1.) Read the article in the February Amplifier that was written by a missionary on the Fotizo field - learn what it's like to live in a Muslim context during Ramadan.
https://www.globalpartnersonline.org/he-wants-to-be-found/
2.) Check out the daily prayer guide on our website (created by a GP missionary team!) and join us in praying for Muslims around the world.
https://www.globalpartnersonline.org/praying-during-ramadan/
3.) Listen to weekly prayers led by our missionaries living in Muslim contexts. (Also available via the link in # 2.)
4.) Step out of your comfort zone and ask YOUR Muslim friends and neighbors about Ramadan. Meet them where they're at, and learn about what they believe.
Do you feel the nudge to serve globally?? There are SO many opportunities -- check these out and start the conversation with us at gponline.org/go!

"You see, we donโt go around preaching about ourselves. We preach that Jesus Christ is Lord, and we ourselves are your servants for Jesusโ sake. For God, who said, 'Let there be light in the darkness,' has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ.
We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves." - 2 Corinthians 4:5-7 (NLT)
