Our 1st grade writers are reading and retelling texts using thinking maps! They are learning how to write from their maps. They are also diving into phonics skills by working on segmenting and blending cvc words.

We are in need of clothes for our Health Office!

Our 3rd grade eagles have been hard at work beginning to learn multiplication! To bring math and social studies together, students designed their own custom buildings, integrating designing an array and its matching multiplication sentence into the architecture. Drawing from their social studies unit on goods and services, they also named their business based on what it provides to the community. Finally, students combined their creations with their classmates' buildings and added vibrant neighborhood backgrounds to build a complete "Array City" display currently lighting up our hallway.

2nd graders took on the classic Spaghetti and Marshmallow Tower Challenge. Working in small groups, the students quickly realized that building a tall structure out of fragile pasta sticks and sticky sweets required real teamwork, patience, and creative problem-solving.
