We’re overjoyed and excited to host our Instrument Placement Day for any expected incoming 6th-graders interested in joining band or orchestra at Coal Ridge on APRIL 11th at 4 PM! This is the OPPORTUNITY for your 5th-grader to try out the instrument that is best suited for them to be successful and have a DYNAMITE music experience!

No prior experience is needed to join. Parents MUST attend with their child. Come in through the main entrance door.

Hello Incoming 6th Grade Families!

I hope the summer has been treating you well. We are excited to have you at Coal Ridge this upcoming school year! The Band and Orchestra programs are hosting our Instrument Placement Day on August 8th at 2 pm, beginning directly after Middle School Step-up. This is your child's opportunity to try out several instruments so that they are placed on an instrument that is best suited for them to be successful and have an outstanding music experience. Families will be notified of instrument placements prior to the start of school. The instrument options are below.
