Basement waterproofing can be an extremely wise decision to make when it comes to protecting your home and its foundation from water damage. Think of this as one of the best ways to fortify your home and its foundation. The less water and more protection you have, the better shape your house will be in.

Did the Nor’easter Reveal a Leak?
Heavy rain has a way of finding the weak spots around a home. If you noticed water coming into your basement or signs of moisture around your foundation during the nor’easter, don’t ignore it now that the storm has passed.
Even a small leak can be a sign that water is finding a path through cracks or vulnerable areas in your foundation—and repeated exposure can lead to bigger problems over time.
Set In Stone can help. We’ll take a look at the problem, determine where the water may be getting in, and discuss the right approach for addressing it.
If the nor’easter left you with puddles, damp areas, or a new leak, give Set In Stone a call. It’s better to address the problem before the next heavy rain puts your foundation to the test again

"After the record snowfalls of last winter and the subsequent melt, we had a foot of water in our crawlspace. Ray and his team did a phenomenal job scoping out the problem, repairing foundation damage, constructing drains and installing pumps. Ray is the consummate professional, proud of his work but incredibly down to earth. He shows up when he says he will. He returns calls. Hell, after the post-Labor Day rains, he called me out of the blue, saying he needed to inspect our basement to make sure it was dry. Needless to say, everything checked out. I feel very lucky to have found Ray."
Thank you, Robert! We are so happy that you left a review. It was a real pleasure to work with you and an honor to read your kind words! We will be here for you if you need us in the future, thank you again! Ray

Stone Walls: Beauty with a Purpose
Stone walls have been part of New England landscapes for generations—and there’s a reason they never go out of style. Beyond their natural beauty, a well-built stone wall can add structure, function, and lasting character to your property.
Stone walls can be used to define garden beds, create property or landscape boundaries, manage changes in elevation, support sloped areas, frame walkways and driveways, or create distinct outdoor spaces. They can also help transform an otherwise simple yard into a landscape that feels established and intentional.
Whether you prefer the traditional look of a New England stone wall or something more structured and contemporary, the right stonework should complement both your home and the surrounding landscape.
At Set In Stone, we build with an eye toward both appearance and function—creating stonework designed to become a lasting part of your property.
🏡 Thinking about adding a stone wall to your landscape? Give Set In Stone a call and let’s talk about the possibilities.
