Women’s Summer Bible Study —-
Starting June 9, we will dig into an 8 week study on Proverbs…The Way of Wisdom. A video study featuring Jen Wilkin, Courtney Rainer, Elizabeth Woodson, Adrienne Camp, Kelly Minter and Ruth Chou Simons. This class will meet every Tuesday (June & July) at 10:00 am in the FBC Annex. Facilitated by Sherry Whitten; childcare is provided; books $25. Sign-up at fbcdecatur.org/events.

What a great morning at the garden party!! Connie Pearson did a wonderful job bringing such a beautiful devotion. Sandy Stanley taught us easy ways to create lovely arrangements. We laughed, met new people, enjoyed yummy treats and left with our own unique arrangement. Thank you to all the ladies who took time out of your day to come! Now to the next event…women’s summer Bible study!

Our Legacy Garden Party is scheduled for May 2 at 10:00am. Invite a friend and come learn techniques from Sandy Stanley on making flower arrangements at home. You even get to create your own to take with you! Connie Pearson will share a special devotion and we will have tea party treats to round out the event. Yesterday, 8 ladies and 1 teen from FBC traveled to Selma to do a women’s event for the community. We worshipped, had wonderful speakers, provided childcare and ladies at a local church provided lunch for everyone. All walked away with a sweet goody bag and a book by Jen Wilkins to help them in their walk through the Bible. We went to bless and encourage them and they ended up blessing us more. What a beautiful day! So thankful for the opportunity. Pray for Davey and Amber Lyons at Imago Dei Church and the community of Selma/WhiteHall.

Fun afternoon of mahjong!! Beautiful picture of what Legacy ministry is about — 32 ladies of all ages learning a new skill and making friends around the tables. Laughter is filling the room!! We miss those who couldn’t make it.
