CPBC family,

As many of you know, Debbie Truett’s daughter, Amy Fulmer, has endured a very difficult fight for her life over the last couple of weeks. Her family has made the difficult decision to cease life support and begin the process of organ donation, which was her wish. The family will take part in an Honor Walk today, in Nashville, beginning at 2:45 PM.

The staff of Central Park has planned a prayer gathering for Debbie and her family at the same time, 2:45 PM, in the sanctuary of the church. We welcome all church members and others who know Debbie, Amy, or their family, to come and join us at this time. If you cannot come and join us in person, we invite you to take a moment and pray personally for Debbie at 2:45 PM.

Central Park Baptist Church is currently seeking a Part-Time Financial Administrator to join our ministry team.

Position Details:
• 8–12 hours per week
• Monday & Wednesday, 8:30 AM–12:30 PM

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Posting online giving
• Recording contributions in church software
• Handling weekly deposits and church finances
• Generating checks
• Recording ACH payroll payments
• Processing invoices
• Monitoring the church phone system

DNow: “Prayer”
August 14–16

Join us for a special DNow weekend focused on prayer as we wrap up the prayer portion of our Read, Pray, Proclaim Initiative. All sessions and activities will take place in the Outback.

Schedule
• Friday, August 14 – Evening Session | 7:00–9:00 PM
• Saturday, August 15 – Morning Session | 9:00–10:30 AM
• Saturday, August 15 – Evening Session | 7:00–9:00 PM
• Sunday, August 16 – Breakfast begins at 9:15 AM

We’ll also have group hangouts and lunch during the day on Saturday!

We’re excited to close out this meaningful part of our initiative together through a powerful weekend centered on prayer. We hope you’ll make plans to be a part of it!

Our 5th & 6th graders have a wonderful opportunity to serve our community by helping in the Pregnancy Center Clothing Closet at Sav-A-Life!

Students will help organize and serve in the clothing closet while learning the importance of loving others through practical service.
