In 2007, two brothers started a vlog project. I was a junior in high school. YouTube was new. And I was infatuated with the idea of how video diaries connected people across time and space.

As a seventeen year old, I found community on the internet, and learned how to do radical good and be unironically enthusiastic about the things I loved.

Some twenty-odd years later, I still subscribe to the Green brothers. I have read all of their books, and I listen to The Anthropocene Reviewed more often than I care to admit. (And cry every time!)

Thanks for always adventuring with me to book things, and for letting me be a plus one to one of the most lovely weekends I’ve had in years, and to for some of the best photos!!

And thank you for teaching a generation of us to care radically about things, and be movers—even if it’s just an inch. 💜

Weekend photo dump part 2!

Truly, it feels cruel to return to the real world after such an amazing weekend. Getting to celebrate birthday, and watching sign an unholy number of books (!!!!!), and cheesing up She’s All That with Julian and and and so many lovely readers, and finding the Vegeta to my Goku (!!), and finally reuniting with (and what an amazing panel!!), and going to perhaps the most amazing tiki bar with .travels, and spending Galentine’s Day at with , and listening to the most lovely keynote by (and !), and spending the most magical day at the Georgia Aquarium thanks to .

Truly, what a lovely, lovely weekend. 💜
